2009 Season on the Horizon
With baseball and softball preparing to roll into the playoffs and the district track meet behind us, the focus will soon be turning to preparations for the 2009 football season. We have 6 weeks of school left in the 2008-2009 school year. It's hard to believe how quickly it's gone by. Though the 2008 season has gone, the success we enjoyed has been a spring-board for several of our graduating seniors.
- Cole Dafft, who will be playing at Northwest Missouri next fall, has been selected to play in the Texas High School Coaches' Association's All-Star game in July
- Hunter Nix, who will be playing at UTEP, has been selected to play in the Oil Bowl, which pits Texas All-Stars against All-Stars from Oklahoma, in June
- Drew Bristol will continue kicking next year for Missouri Southern
- Bryan Monroe will continue his football career at Missouri Southern as well
- Brian Griffitt will play football at Austin College
- Ryan Carroll will be playing at Harding University next fall
We are proud of our graduating seniors, and the legacy that they've left behind. It will be quite a task for our returning lettermen to follow in their footsteps, however we believe they are up to the challenge.
As the summer months approach, there are many opportunities for our players to prepare for the upcoming season...

We strongly encourage players to stay active in the summer, so that they will be ready for the first day of workouts on August 3. As we near the last day of school, more detailed plans will become available. Please check back regularly for updated information.
