ETC MEETING MINUTES
May 17th 2009
*Welcome and intro. of officers by Cathy Miller
*Reading of minutes from previous meeting by Marcus Pearce
*Cathy Miller announced that Marcus Pearce had acquired the DBA making
the ETC an official operating business
*Adie Abbott gave the financial report for April 1st– May 16th
*Cathy Miller announced good success for the ETC membership table at the
athletic physicals on May 10, along with the spirit wear table, raising
$1100
*Mark Lingo is creating the new ETC website and was thanked for his
support
*Cathy Miller previewed handout for the Prospect Showcase by Dave
*Cathy Miller began discussing committee handout
*Joni Pearce spoke about the fundraising cookbook and shared different
ways it will be advertised
*Darin Riggs volunteered for the chair person on the Meet the Eagles
committee
*A request was made for photographers to volunteer to take pictures at all
football games grades 7-12
*Maggy Croxville updated everyone on the Eagle’s program discussing the
new format and a vintage theme
*Hollie Havens spoke about membership levels and firm dates on acquiring
season tickets
*Marcus Pearce discussed membership for 2009 at 86 vs. 166 in 2008
*Corky Underwood was announced as head of the Sign committee and
presented his first sign
*Cathy Miller announced ideas for t-shirts for 2009 as the following:
The eagle has landed
Fear the might of the green and white
MMM- bobcats taste like chicken
*Jerry Miller discussed the tunnel/horn asking for volunteers to commit to
helping with away games and purchasing a new wagon
*Cathy Miller spoke about a group of moms organizing the Screaming
Eagles which will run with flags and do push-ups following a score at the games
*Coach Scott spoke about 7 on 7 and various summer camps
